Luck:
Week 12: Last night the WW scale was .4 lbs. less than the previous week.
Deserved to be gaining
Yet still I'm maintaining
I won't be complaining
Stupidity:
What can I say:
I should have known better.
It was in the wee hours of the night and I couldn't sleep.
Thank you hubby Matt for keeping my anti-virus protection up to date.
I opened the UPS Delivery Failure e-mail even though I was suspicious.
Shower Curtain:
Or you never know when you'll find a use for some piece of junk that you're saving:
An Awesome Video:
I don't usually view the videos people post 'cause I spend way way too much time on-line as it is, but Kathy posted a (just a little over 2 minute) video of a lion with his humans and it is very very worth watching. The post is entitled AH-H-H! and she wrote it on July 24th.

Loved your little three line poem!!! And aren't you clever with the shower rings???
Thanks for the shout-out...so happy you enjoyed the video...it made my day.
Can I relate...you know that line about pounds coming back and bringing friends, it was a real party in my body last week arrrghh
I'm also a 'junk' collector and oh man the things you can do with it, I love it..
and the video on Kathy's Blog, well it's a treasure, thank you :)
ok, where's my post from yesterday :(
Kathy: Thanks. Re. the video, a number of my friends have enjoyed it. Thanks for posting it.
Lorraine: The friend (more fat) of my enemy (fat) is my enemy.
Laughingwolf: I don't know where your comment is. I hope you repost it.
I like your poems!
I had to look twice to see what you used for those shower curtain rings! Very creative and very cool.
PS.re Randy Pausch, I highly recommend the last lecture, and his book too. Watch the video, it's really not wasted time.
Daniele: Wow! We're posting simultaneously, you at a sane (London) time and me, tired and ready for beddy bye here in Northern California at 11:43 p.m. Thanks for your compliments. I think I'll get a copy of Randy Pausch's book. And now I'm off (hopefully) to sleepland.
I love the phenom that is the internet community as well. It always amazes me that there is so much talent out there too. I remember on a WW thread one day, I asked what hobbies the other readers at the time had and I was totally startled at the number of responses from all those lurkers who wanted to talk about their writing, painting, poetry, photography, travel! I think creativity is one of the bonds that ties a lot of us overeaters together...the SENSITIVE souls perhaps. I just know I cherish every new acquaintance and just love, love, love hearing from people like Grammy who told me she has been reading my blog for an entire year before ever commenting! We missed an entire year of sharing grandma talk!
So-o-o Sorry about the cake link. I really do understand how touchy that can be!
Have a wonderful Sunday!
Well done on the weight loss, not a lot but moving in the right direction is always good.
As for computor viruses, I got a bad one a couple of years ago, couldn't clean it so my PC had to go into the shop and cost me a bit of money to repair. I learnt my lesson and do virus scans as a routine now.
Daniele: Adding to last night's comment re. your comment, I'd love to see pics of what you've done with some of your junk. I may post a photo of M!!M, a bit of junk art that I created one year for Burning Man, a festival held in a Nevada desert in late August.
Kathy: I am STRONG and have the POWER to handle temptation (an affirmation and, for now, a reality).
Mick: Thanks. You are absolutely correct, I am going and headed in the right direction.
Nice shower curtain rings. I know how it feels to lose weight and then gain back. I had lost 55 pounds thenturned right around and got pregnant with my second son. So much for a nice body! LOL
Lisa
Lisa: I wish my current blubberitious state was due to pregnancy. Unfortunately it's not. (Unless I get to count the pregnancy of my daughter-in-law with my first grandchild. Even then, the pregnancy would have had to start around April of 2003 and continue for about 61 months.)
you make me smile!
Annette: Smiling right back at you:-)
So you are now getting milk cartons in the mail? Talk about a lazy milkman!
Check my Fitness blog!!
Spidey: I will check your Fitness blog and sub it for the other one of yours on my list. I am so glad that you are okay.
forgot to tell you that I re-activated my words and stuff blog...while still keeping some stuff on Am3 ;)
Pineapple pancakes! What an idea. I saw in a commercial last night that IHOP has lemon pancakes with berry topping and the thought of that combination sounded so good! Thankfully the local one closed down and I won't be able to follow that little fantasy down the road and into a booth!!!
Lorraine: I'm glad to hear about the reactivation and will add that to my blog list. Thanks for letting me know.
Kathy: Sometimes it's very very good when things are inconvenient.
